Lesson learned: when mommy says you shouldn't use her scissors, you shouldn't. When mommy says, only one piece of candy, you should only have one piece. Little sisters with other ideas and slick coercion methods should be ignored. What happens if you disobey mommy? Your gingerbread cookie might escape the oven, the big bad wolf might eat you and your Nana, and you might cut your lip and have to get a stitch at the hospital!
Why do these things always happen on weekends after convenience care clinics are closed?
One more thing. So the medical shows seem to be full of hotties, but let me just say that the local hospital ER is no different. Seriously! I really don't tend to notice that kind of thing, but literally every person who talked to us that was a doctor, nurse, resident or whatever was BEAUTIFUL! They were all young and presumably single (no rings) so as far as I'm concerned, Grey's Anatomy is probably all TRUE...oh wait, no, that can't be...IZZY just kissed a man who has been dead as long as I've watched the show. HONESTLY, is GA the next "Days"? I have professed to be done watching the show like ten times, but if there is going to be a dead guy coming back to life, I think I really will have to call it quits. Anyway, if you are young and single, you should really consider medicine as a career. I think all the fire fighters are amping up the education a few notches and going for the white coat.

Oh no that is terrible, you know when it is too quiet! Mine is usually in our shower taking out the drain and stirring up the yucky black stuff and hairs with a toothbrush or hair brush. Gross! The last part of your post is so funny though! Man, beautiful people hu?
I am sorry about your daughter's lip.. it is always hard to see your kids in pain - and it is a pain to go to the hospital. I know what you mean about hot doctors. My hubbies dental school class was a bunch of eye candy - not the typical dentists that we all new and loved. By the way I pulled out the Discovery photo album and journal today. It was fun to see you in the pictures.
Poor thing. I'm glad you have a sense of humor about it. Isn't it the worst when you're a kid and you recognize that you've done something wrong and everyone will know it because you've got stitches or some obvious evidence?
amen on the GA thing...if denny comes back to life, i am done!
and i am so sorry about the ER thing, i haven't had to take my kids there yet...knock on wood!
A lot about Grey's is true. Even interns hooking up in rooms. (Not anyone I respect) However, I have seen some definitely NOT tv worthy men pass through our hospital halls. But, a lot are attractive. You must have got a lucky weekend at the clinic you visited.
Oh, I'm SO SORRY! Poor Ruby! That lip just looks like it hurts! And those scissors! I know those to be some SHARP ones! Learned her lesson, huh?
oh, owie! Poor Ruby! I just cringe when I see little ones' owies. I'm such a wimp. Get better soon, Ruby!
I didn't know you took her to the ER!! I knew when you called Chris about it, but I didn't know that.
Litlte girly- she is so sweet- and I can just picture how she feels about the whole situation. Love that girl.
So- we totally have a resident mc dreamy here. I know that many of the docs aren't allowed to wear their rings due to infection control- at least here they don't. I have seem doctors wear them on their badge thingys.
Anyway- poor rubes.
